Dynamo 14 -19 entrepreneurship teaching materials
Dynamo 14 -19 entrepreneurship teaching materials were developed by the Welsh Assembly Government as part of a wider commitment to supporting tutors and fostering entrepreneurial development in the young people of Wales.
Dynamo materials are designed to encourage students to use their imagination and to develop the skills required to be successful in their lives, whatever they choose to do, by actively being involved in working together, asking questions, solving problems and making decisions in a fun and challenging way.
They include:
·A Teacher handbook – a guide to delivery including detailed activity sheets and resources
·A CD Rom with interactive activities, editable worksheets, video stimulus material and complete teacher handbook
·Two innovative activities – a floor-based board game where students need to be competitive and make quick decisions as a team or individuals and an interactive computer game, where students plan and manage a shopping centre.
The materials are available free of charge in Welsh and English upon completion of a teacher training programme. One day Dynamo Professional Development Training events are available at locations throughout Wales. Call 0845 108 0561 for more information.
