The Qualification
Staff Structure
The majority of the Welsh Baccalaureate Project Team is based at the WJEC. One team member is based at Fforwm, the association which represents the Colleges of Further Education.
An internal evaluation team is based at the University of Bath, Education Department, which has excellent international links in education. This team evaluates the Welsh Baccalaureate and the information gained from the evaluation informed the Welsh Assembly's decision to roll out the qualification across Wales.
Every Welsh Baccalaureate school, college and training provider has a Welsh Baccalaureate Co-ordinator, responsible for organising the delivery of the Welsh Bac in their institution. Each centre has a delivery team of teachers and personal tutors co-ordinated by the Welsh Baccalaureate Co-ordinator.
