The Qualification
Welsh Baccalaureate Levels
The Welsh Baccalaureate is offered at three levels.
Students studying for a Foundation or Intermediate Diploma might be doing a one or two year course at school or college which leads to qualifications such as GCSEs or Intermediate GNVQs.
Students aiming for an Advanced Diploma will normally be entering a two year course at school or college which leads to qualifications such as A levels or Advanced GNVQs.
Students studying Principle Learning qualifications as part of the Welsh Baccalaureate, will also do a Project or Extended Project alongside their study of the Welsh Baccaalureate Core.
